COMMUNITY COUNSELING SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW CLINICAL SUPERVISOR IN HURON

Community Counseling Services congratulates Angela Carruthers on her new position as clinical supervisor of the Huron Mental Health team.   Carruthers started her career with CCS in the Huron office as a therapist in 2013.  Carruthers achieved her status as a Licensed Professional Counselor in March of 2015 and her QMHP certification in April of 2015.   Carruthers received her bachelors in psychology from the Southwest MN State University in Marshall, MN and her Masters of Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Dakota.

She enjoys the variety of working with individuals, groups, families and children.    She provides services out of the Huron office.   She is originally from Chester, SD and is now living and working in Huron.  She enjoys the great outdoors, camping, sports and trying new restaurants.

Community Counseling Services provides behavioral health services including: psychiatric, counseling services for children and adults, case management, addiction services and youth prevention in the following seven counties:  Beadle, Kingsbury, Hand, Miner, Moody, Lake and Jerauld.
