COMMUNITY COUNSELING SERVICES BOARD PRESIDENT SPOTLIGHT

Roger Chase has been serving on CCS board for 9 years since 2008. In December of 2014 he was elected CCS Board President, replacing Jean Larsen.

Chase is a lifelong resident of the Huron area. He graduated from Huron High School and Huron University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He has been involved with the real estate business 27 years. He is currently the broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Action Realty in Huron. Chase has been active in the community in several capacities including: Huron Housing & Redevelopment Authority since 1992/1993 and currently the Chairman of the Board, Beadle County Commissioner from 2001-2008, local director for Beadle County Farm Bureau, a member Huron Board of Realtors and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Huron.

Chase sees his part as a CCS board member and president to act in a supportive role and assist the CCS administration develop futuristic plan for CCS to provide better services to the areas we serve. “We are the administration’s ears and voice to communicate the CCS mission to communities we serve and educate on the services they provide. “

Chase loves to travel, and attend NASCAR races and large scale gardening (farming).

Community Counseling Services provides behavioral health services including: psychiatric, counseling services for children and adults, case management, addiction services and youth prevention in the following seven counties:  Beadle, Kingsbury, Hand, Miner, Moody, Lake and Jerauld.
