Our Summer Groups

We are pleased to announce that Community Counseling Services will be offering a range of mental health groups this summer. Our groups are designed to provide a supportive and safe environment for individuals who are seeking to improve their health and well-being. Our experienced counselors will guide you through each session, providing you with the tools and resources you need to manage your mental health effectively. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or any other mental health issue, our groups are here to help. Join us this summer and take the first step towards a healthier and happier you.

Building Life Balance Strategies

The objective of this group is to develop coping skills that support managing daily life challenges while maintaining a positive outlook.

Proof of Action:

The group will follow the "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff Workbook" by Richard Carlson, Ph.D. This workbook focuses on the cognitive-behavioral principles and behavioral modification to promote self-awareness and develop skills for managing stress and cultivating a positive mindset,

Who Qualifies:

Adult clients - ladies over 30 year old.

Building Balance

Building Balance-the purpose of this group is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals with borderline personality disorder to imrpove mindfulness, distress tolerance and emotional regulation. I was inspired to do this group by a client who speficially asked for a group focused towards those who struggle with symptoms of borderline personality disorder.

Proof of Action:

This group will utilize a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) framework to support individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder by focusing on skill development in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness within a structured group setting, utilizing the borderline personality workbook as framework curriculum.

Adults 18 +
